Default Which Supercharger?

I'm looking at buying a supercharger for my 00 GT 5spd (Stock). I was wondering which one you would put on and why. Any other advise would be great.

Thanks,
Scott

Good idea

now you have to sort out what you realy want .What sort of power increase are you after ? and where in the rev range do you want it? what's you min and maximum budget and what other priorities you have -fuel economy ,prostock look, must fit under hood etc. The more info you give the better we'll be able to answer your question.

Eaton m90 or m112 available secondhand worth looking at ,Vortech /Paxton proven cetrifugal set-ups if your after more than minimum boost you'll have to upgrade your fuel system.

I have a procharger and reccomend it for the power it makes. The install is kinda hard but with a safe tune, I gained 145 HP and 140 TQ. It also added 16 mph to my quarter mile. I don't know how emissions are in canada, but the kit is also 50 state smog legal.

If you didn't want a centrifical supercharger, then I would suggest a Kenny Bell as an alternative. I have heard great things about that kit too.

A guy from one of the other local Mustang boards just got his Kenne Bell installed on his '02 GT, and is having Ray from Dynolabs tune it. I'll post the numbers once he gets it done. It'll be an interesting comparison.

Cool

KB's kit is getting great reviews .... strong low end torque and flat curve. nearly 400rwhp at 9lbs dependent on exhaust mods and tune of the car. :thumbup

Roots/Screw type or Centri type; depends on what you want it for.

The tune is getting done on the 1st of Sept. Just read another one of his threads. He's not running a stock bottom end. He's running 17cc dished pistons, H-beam rods, cobra crank, and mildly ported heads. Stock valve train though. So I'm guessing the power is going to be more than yours. I put my guess in at 460ish.

Here's the link to the thread with his setup and a pic of the install.
