Looks like if you went with a leaner tune you'd still make more power, even without ported heads and a built shortblock.

Wow! I made more torque... That is problaby because I run my car so rich. But was that SAE or STD? Mine is STD... I'll get the SAE numbers later. I have all my dyno pulls at home. I figured he'd make more power then that though. I also know that I would make more power if I was leaner. But my car has issues with detonation if I run any leaner. If I had low compression like that, I would boost my car into the 12-15 PSI range. I was watching my boost gauge last night and I was making 10 PSI at 5800 RPMs.

Also, does he have headers? If he doesn't, that could be another reason why he's not making as much power as he wants.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain he's got headers. JBA's I think. He had that tuned at DynoLabs. I'm not sure if it's SAE or STD. I'm assuming STD.
