Question Can anyone offer advice on a SuperCharged Mustang ??

im thinking of buying my friends mustang..Its a 99mustang GT with a ATI procharger with intercooler with 3tunes,42lb Injectors pro-m air meter,2003Cobra fuel tank and pump steeda shifter,2stage clutch, borla exhaust, maxmotorsports suspension,3.73rear end and a full saleen body kit..the cars got 26K and the supercharger has got 3k..this would be the first supercharged mustang that i would have and would just like to know what r the problems that would have and is that a good setup!!
thanks for any help and advice i could get from anyone who knows about superchargers

I have a 02 GT with a Procharger... The only problems I seem to run into is the ocational detonation. You may want to figure out why your "friend" is selling the car. There may be more to it then he's saying. You'd have one hell of a time getting my car outta my death grip.

thanx for the advice..the person who is selling his car has 4 other cars that are more than twice the price of the mustang...he said that after getting married his rich family doesnt want him to drive a sports car...
when the ocational detonation happens, does it coz any gaskets or heads to break?

Get a compression test done and check it throughly to make sure it has never been overheated. Dubai is a pretty hot place and it wouldn't be had to cook a supercharged engine in that desert !

Heat is a killer on engines. It gets hot here too. You can also inspect the intake area for signs of discoloration, usually due to excessive heat. A compression test can also show up heat fatigue. Spend 10 minutes studying under the hood. Its amazing what a little time under there will show up.

I fly Emirates Done a few stop overs on my way to Europe. Also had a few friends working there. Nice place, awesome weather and some of the cars you have there are off the planet ! I went to a sand dune climb and saw some super charged 4x4's going up insane dunes
