Heya all,

Hello all - A little new to this Forum and from "Down under" (Australia)
I have a 5.6L MY02 quad cam Mustang that I fitted a Vorte supercharger to, The thing make 500hp now EASY..

looks like I've damaged my 5 speed Maual gear box with the power. What gear box conversions are available for the Mustang that will hold the power? (car has to stay street driveable)

Nothing is available here in Australia so any help would be greatly appreciated. (any vendors feel free to email me direct damian.zanetti@au.unisys.com but am interested to hear all soments.

Thats coz your not looking hard enough Why not put a T56 Viper gear box behind it ??? You can pick one up off the shelf from Eagle Auto Spares in Dandenong Victoria or try Albury Performance, Supa Plus or Victorian Performance Warehouse.

If you want to go second hand buy Parts Peddler Magazine. They often have T56's in them.

If all that fails have a chat to my mechanic, Rob Herrod at Herrod Performance. His 01 Mustang has a V10 with a supercharger.

Could you explain to us dumb yanks what a 5.6 MY02 quad cam engine is? I'm guessing it's a bored out version of what you'd find in a Falcon GT-P?

And wtf, a V10 in a 01 stang?! is everything "down under" different than everything "on top" here in the states? lol
