Default V6 Supercharger

Hey, I'm looking at supercharging , my 02' mustang with the 3.8 liter v6. I have been looking on ebay, just for ideas about what i want, i camem across the supercharger off the thunderbirds super coupe i was wondering it that would work. i was also looking at the vortex or a paxton. I don't know what i want as long as i get more horse power out of it and still have it be safe for a daily driver. anyone have any suggestions?

You can use a SC T-bird Applicaiton if you're good with a little fabrtication, and have all the tools necessary. I'd pick up a Stud Girdle from MoranaV6Racing. But you have to be aware that the used units from E-Bay may require a lot of work to get them running correctly. - Let the buyer beware!

You can purchase an entire rebuilt SC engine from O'Reilley's for around 1750.00 dollars. You'd only need a program to run the car after the engine's installed. But you'd only gain 25 or so hp over your 2002. Stock T-Bird/Cougar SCs had 220 HP, a Stock NA Mustang 6 has 193.

For the price, you can get the same HP from underdrivers and CAI.

The Best SC is probably the ATI Procharger. It comes complete with the intercooler, which will allow to run more boost, and will be much more reliable and safe for your engine.
