Who's running a turbo? Would you still choose it over supercharger?

Is anybody out there running a turbo, like the kit from turbodrivenconcept.com?? I was just wondering what kind of performance you were getting and whether or not you wished you had gone with a supercharger.

turbos give more power than supercharger due to the lack of draw off the crank... among other reasons.

It's way easier to increase boost amounts with a turbo also; no pullies to worry about. Just a wastegate mod

I don't wish I had gone with a S/C at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (nothing against S/C's I like them too)

I love my twins. @ 8-10lbs boost on a stock engine, stock suspension with slicks I pulled a 1.72 60ft time, 12.40 1/4 with a blown head gasket. I actually went from 23 mpg to 27mpg with the turbo's. Ok I get 7mpg or 27mpg depending on how heavy my foot gets.

A supercharger will get you off the line faster if that's important to you

Usually depending what turbo you are running... if you use a small and a big, you have no lag.

Adam is correct.

It is more of what size the turbine housing is (exhaust side). A smaller AR will spin-up faster.

I have an AR of 64 each. I'm at full boost by 2500-2800 rpm's

Turbo's rule! I studied and researched for 6 months before deciding on my turbos and I'm SO HAPPY I did. Just got it running last week, don't have times for it but I expect to break the 11's on a stock motor...that's pretty cool.

I love the fact that they are reliable and dependable, build boost much quicker and acts like a stocker until you nail it.
