I am trying to find out if anyone out there is running this setup. I am about to return from overseas (military) and plan to purchase a '98 Cobra and install a KB supercharger. For the price of the car and blower, it is a tough combo to beat. I am not into the race scene, so I am more interested in the positive displacement design rather than the centrifugal type. My question - if anyone has this setup, how easy is it to install and what other mods have you done? (Considering upgrading the exhaust and possibly extrude hone the heads and a single blade throttle body.) Otherwise leaving everything else stock. Thoughts???

I have a 98 Cobra with Kenne Bell with 8psi. It's easy to install, just make sure you have all new gaskets. My recommendation is go with large injectors, and fuel pump, to avoid using an FMU. Extrude hone the cas alluminum intake also.

My set-up has: KB 8psi, AFM Power Pipe, 80mm pro-M w/K&N, JBA shorties, Bassani X pipe, Accufab oval throttle body, 42# injectors, 255lph pump. 391hp, 361ft/lb (over 325ft/lb at 2000rpm)

It will require a custom tune, Plan on dyno tuning. One thing I've leared K-B require custom tuning. It's rare that you can bolt on and go. GOOD LUCK
