Default Supercharger question?

Is the Procharger a good blower to go with on the 4.6L engine?
I always hear great comments about the Procharger's and that
they make good power.

Prochargers make great power, more than comparable vortechs, BUT fit and finish is not.
Most of their kits require some customization mostly on the length of the discharge tubes and intercooler mounting.

I've had my Procharger on now for about 1200 miles and have been quite impressed with the power on demand so to speak. I did have some fitment issues that arose on the first trip after the professional installation. I had to adjust some of the connections and jockey things around to make them "perfect" versus what seemed like it was half assed. I even had the tube come out of the fitting on the discharge side of the s/c'r and that was very noticeable with a loud wooshing sound and no power and slight pinging sound. Luckily a flat tip, a few burn marks on my hands from touching the s/c and a little sweat and it was fixed in a few minutes.

I like how I can drive around normally for hours and all of a sudden hit it and have tons of power and acceleration and go right back to cruisin. Overall I'm happy with my experience so far.

Yes,Rob thats the
only thing is the fitment but,all that can be cured with a little
customization as you said.I am thinking of going with a Procharger P!SC
unit sometime in the future.Prochargers are great quality blowers thats
for sure and will last a long time. Thanks guys for the comments.
