Question NO2 on my stock 02 GT

I currently have a stock 02 GT motor save a K&N FIPK, Flows in the back and have yet to install the gears but I am also interested in hitting it with a shot of nitrous. The car is not driven that much at all (about 3000 miles a year), and would like to take it to Norwalk OH next year just to see what she'll do. My question is how much nitrous is too much for a stock motor? In a dry system, is it injected before or after the MAF? I also need to hunt down a certain goat prowling around town.... Any help on what I need to do is greatly appreciated.

With the 02 your probably best with a wet kit due to the returnless fuel system... I really like my Zex kit... I'm running 100HP shot on my 05 V6 with stock internals... no problems so far (3 bottles)

I've heard of GTs running up to 150 shot on the stock internals with a good tune. Most people run 100-125. If you install 4.10s and the shot of juice you will need drag radials to go anywhere. I've heard ET streets are about the best, but I would get into 2nd before hitting the juice. Good luck to you and remember to get a tune with the nitros.

good point about the tune... spend the $$$ and get the car on a dyno to double check the A/F to make sure you don't go to lean... Good tune and good gas... you'll need to run premium...

Dry kit is the best for our cars and I would stay under a 125 shot if you would like to keep your engine.

Check around in corral.net there is a lot more info and experience on nitrous and power adders in general then here.

I've heard the same thing about the dry system for our 02's. Summitt has the NOS system for our car for a little over 700 bones but it looks a little complicated compared to a ZEX, but I can't seem to find a ZEX system for the 02 (99-04) The tune will be a given with the mods I'm planning. ( 4.10's, long tubes, hi flow cats, nitrous, fuel pump, larger injectors, MAF, Accufab plenum, etc.)

I believe that's because in 99 the Mustang went to a returnless fuel system... I also believes that make the wet kit a better choice for 99+ Stangs...

I would not recommend anything more then a 125 shot on a stock fuel system. I would also go to the dyno and make sure that your AFR is safe before you go out and spray the hell out of your car. Wet or dry, it's your choice. Just check the AFR!!!

By the way it's N2O - (2)Nitrogen molecules surrounding (1)Oxygen molecule.

NO2 is what I take that makes me super muscular and ripped.

Went to the dyno, made 332.8hp @ 5150 rpm and 269.1 ftlbs @ 4140 rpm. I guess thats it for a stock motor but he tells me the air/fuel is right on the mark and recommended a ZEX dry system due to the fact that it's idiot proof and will tune me up when the time comes. Was dynoed on a Mustang 1100 MD???? Says he can get 3 tunes on a Superchips Customs tuner, stock, HiPo, and Nitrous.Recommends about 125hp jet. thoughts??

How the hell did you get that much power from a basically stock car . That's 100hp more than what you should have with those mods.

Based on his torque i think he meant to say 232 instead of 332....Since thats what most stock gt's dyno at.

I have always heard to go with the wet kit to be safe but i personally don't have one........yet!

If it's 12.5 across the board then that's perfect for N/A
