Default Which is easier

I have an 89 LX and i'm trying to add some more power to it when incometax comes around. I wanted to know which system would be better for a do it ur selfer, a turbo or a supercharger. With no mods i run 14.8 and i would like to get that time down to low 14s to high 13s. Any input would be nice

Supercharger for sure. Although I recently read about the new Hellion turbo kit for those years. I think it was John Urist that put the kit together and they made some killer power with it. I think it was like almost 200rwhp over the base. Since your whole bottom end should be forged, as long as you dont have a crap pile of miles then you should be ok. Also they eventually blew the head gaskets, and that gave them an opportunity to toss on a set of new edelbrock heads that had been laying around looking for a host. Now that I think about it, they may have made that much power after they put the heads on. But either way, it was only like 6psi and they made an insane amount of power. But for less work, the supercharger would be the way to go. Dont have to do all that exhaust swapping and all.
