Thumbs up Got the money and permission from the Wife, Help Paxton or Vortech

Hey Guys!

Finally sold my wife's old car and she said long ago anything I get for it I can spend on a supercharger...And I got even more than I thought for it so with a couple hundred bucks I can get the supercharger...Question is do I go with Paxton or Vortech...Now I know most of you will say Vortech...So you paxton owners chime in...I know ClintWalker on here has one and loves his paxton so you weigh in again please...I have wanted a Paxton since I was a kid b/c me and my buddies always said we'd get one, one day...I want the novi 1000...however for a hundred bucks more I can get the Vortech entry level kit...I did a search on paxton reviews and found a site where almost 90% of the people that had paxton s/c said they were junk...They would either seize or bearings would go bad, etc...And it almost always was right out of warranty...With that said all reviews that people wrote that had mustang kits seemed real happy...The bad reviews came from other vehicle owners with older model s/c from paxton...None were the novi line...So my question is should this even weigh in on my decision? Before today I was sure I was getting the paxton but now I'm worried...A lot of the reviews dealt with issues where paxton had sold a line of s/c to some company named "paradise wheels" or something and would not help anyone with one of these s/c as it was "no longer their problem"...If that is true paxton, in my opinion, does not stand behind their products...Which makes me think if the novi line is sold i'm S.O.L. if I have a problem...Not a fun thought when you are spending almost 2 grand!...I don't know anything about Vortech, other than a lot of people got them...Which is a good thing...But I kinda liked thinking that I would have the s/c that not EVERYONE has ya know?...Please weigh in...EVERBODY WHO HAS ONE OF THESE BRANDS...I am ready to order but not until I do some more research in light of the reviews I just read...Thanks a lot!

paxton and vortech are the same company now. I've never heard any bad reviews of paxtons either. alot of people put down powerdynes as well but they admit to knowing nothing about them. I'd go by word of mouth from paxton owners. I've had no problems whatsoever

Procharger makes excellent systems. They are intercooled and they are self contained which is a huge plus!! You won't have to tap the oil pan. I loved mine.

Clint...This is where I read all those reviews...Any other comments?...I really want the novi 1000 and since you have one and are highly recommending it I most likely will do it...Can you tell me how many miles you've put on yours and any problems if any you have had???

I've put about 2,000 miles and have had no problems at all.
