Default powerdyne install questions

i now see why the powerdyne kits are so much cheaper than the other ones on the market, you end up spending just as much for all the components they leave out....onto my question though....i cannot physically put the upper radiator hose on due to the fact that it rests against the supercharger pulley, i only have 1.5" of space between the pulley and the outlet of the radiator, i cut the hoses as per the instructions, slid in the stainless steel piece but that doesnt matter. i am using a frpp aluminum radiator, i believe the tubular k member i have (upr) moved the engine to far forward and maybe even the motor mounts (energy suspension) helped move the engine forward. any suggestions??? is there a radiator with a driverside inlet?? am i better off getting a shorter radiator that will fit where the a/c condensor used to rest??? any thoughts or ideas i would appreciate it.

HAHA! just be glad powerdyne sent you the fitting for the radiator hose. When I got my powerdyne they didnt send me the radiator hose fitting, the fender well plate or the rite pulley. I had to cut the hose shorter and zip tie it. I called 3 times and they never sent the items. pay the extra money and buy a pro-charger or vortech, more PSI and a intercooler. Tell me if you get a wierd squeal when you start the car.

Sorry to hear about your bind. I had parts In my kit that I had no need for, but nothing was missing and all fit well. Although I am stil using the stock radiator. I saw on ebay that there was a cool flex hose kit that could be bent into hrad 90* bends if need be. Maybe that will help.

thanks for the reply's, i got everything to work out alright, with the 9psi pulley ive made 6-7psi at 5300rpm, havent pushed it yet, waiting for a good tune. the biggest problems i see with the kit is the supercharger plate is thinner than other manufactures and flex's, also the belt seems almost too small, very tight to get on. i bet alot of these bearing failures i've heard about come from installation trying to get the belt on over the crank and supercharger pulley's. so far so good, i dont expect any problems with making power since ive started with a strong foundation, we'll see what happens and if the charger can hold up to a little abuse
