I will be running the setup in my sig with a 347 stroker and possibly porting and polishing the heads and lower intake. I might want to put a blower on it pretty soon right after I get it all back together and as you can see, I have 24lb injectors and a MAF to match along with a 190lph pump. Now the pump I am not going to use, I am buying a 255lph because that wont matter if I end up not getting the S/C. But my question is, is it safe to buy bigger injectors and use them before I install a S/C?? and if so what size should I get? The thing is, I don't wanna use the ones I just bought because there is a 95% chance I will be getting the S/C so I will obviously need bigger ones. So would it be safe to run bigger injectors without a blower, will that end up making me run rich or something? and what size should I get? I am looking mostly looking into the Vortech V-1 or V-2 kit. thanx for any help.

OOORAAHH!!!
You can always compensate for bigger inectors with a tune. It's impossible to compensate for injectors that are too small. Just make sure the ECU gets tuned once the project is ready to run. I would go ahead and get the 42's or higher.

ok, cool, thats what I was wondering. I thought maybe having bigger injectors without a blower would cause my motor to run rich. I knew you could probably adjust is by tuning it but I wasn't sure exactly how much you could lean it out before it can no longer be adjusted. So to what amount of boost would 42# injectors be good for. I don't think I will be running the standard boost level for very long. I am thinking of going to about 12psi and maybe higher, but I'll have to see how it runs and how much power I get out of it first. Thanx

I think 42's would be good for 12psi for sure. I'm not positive how much you'll need for higherthan that though.

That's something that must be done with a new chip or with a handheld tuner.
