Hi Guys,
I,m new to this site and I was wondering if any of you all were running a 871 Blower on your Engine? We are running a Shelby 427 Alum.FE Blower,Stroker Engine in our 69 Shelby GT 500 ProStreet convertible.
We decited to use a 871 Blower & Intercooler (Pump Gas) setup from BDS. This will be our frist Blower engine and we would like to know if any of you ,if running a like setup, are having trouble with this setup ,on the street & what kind of problems you are having?
We're hip deep in Chebbbby country and can't get any help locally so I hope some of you can help.
The Blower setup has is a Fuel Injection ,Twin TBI 1000 CFM Throttle Bodies with dual stage Injectors under a Dual-Quad blower Hat!
The setup will be a little tall ,with the 4" tall intercooler, but Ed,at Shelby's said we should run it ,because of the pump gas & Engine Temps. Want to keep the engine

Engine has 8/1 Pistons,Eagle H-beam rods, Billet Scat chromed Crank, Crane Blower Cam,.687 lift, Shelby Alum. Blower- ported & Polished heads with hard seats,MSD Crank trigger & Mallory Dist. , recurved for the blower, 6 bolt.Mains with screw in freeze plugs, in the alum. Shelby block.
Hope to here from you!!
