Default supercharger+nitrous

just wondering if anyone is running a supercharger/turbo with nitrous? Would it be possible maybe with like a small 6psi supercharger and a 75 shot?

I wouldn't try it on a positive displacement blower, but I've seen several people do it with centrifugals. You don't want to run N2O through the blower because the extremely low temperatures will cause all kinds of heat stresses inside the blower and that's not conducive to long life.

If running a wet kit with the throttle body plate, how much boost do you think you could run with a 100 shot?

Right now I run 10 PSI, but I am getting the Anderson Ford Motorsport powerpipe this month, and that adds between 2-4 lbs of boost. I have 42 lb injectors, a digital fuel management unit, and all forged internals. Could I run 14 lbs of boost AND a 100 shot? Would it require another tune?

Any help is appreciated....I've been thinking about running juice for a long time, but I always hear people say that stuff breaks running nitrous

Under no circumstances do you want N2O to go through the blower unit. This completely discludes positive displacement blowers. The heat/cold stresses in the intake tract from N2O usage will absolutely destroy a blower's bearings and possibly the impeller too. I'm not sure on how much boost you can run with a 100 shot. I do know that you'll have to get it retuned for the N2O so your tuner would hopefully know that.

It could work quite well if you injected the nitrous downstream of the blower. Its all in the tune!

That's why I differentiated between positive displacement and centrifugals. I've seen it done successfully on several cars. The ONLY way you could do it with a pos. dis. blower is with a direct injection setup so the N2O never enters the blower unit.
