Well thats where the Wet and Dry systems come into play. I think pretty much every manufacturer of nitrous systems has both.. either N20 and fuel into the intake or just nitrous and the injectors, fuel pump ,etc have to be able to keep up.
Zex, N.O.S by Holley, and Nitrous Express all do these I believe.

Thumbs up great idea!

If I'am correct you mean a complete seperate fuel sytem for your No2

I have seen it done buy several racers in SW Missouri.
Basically you run a small fuel cell in addition to the cars primary fuel tank dedicated to the motor. The extra cell is only in use when the system is armed and fired . run some 100+ octang to shoot with the No2 as the wet side of the kit and you have a more potent and safe for the motor Nos sytem .
Most of the set-ups I have seen utilize a small in line pump with the pump wired in with the nos arming switch, you just feed the fuel line from a different source. I would want a purge for the fuel as well as the NOS, but let the the fuel just purge in the actual fuel delivery point in the induction. Add a fuel pressure safety switch, that kills the Nos in the event of loss of fuel , and it sounds like the only way to do NOS to me ...
As for web site. .
Try - www.417muscle.com - post a question to cobra steve ,he has built his own nos fuel sytem Good luck with it if you try it

I run seperate lines and dedicated pump. At 6500rpm I don't want any missfires or pinning because of lack of fuel. Some of the smaller system you might be able to get away with a single line, but I wouldn't recomend it. I've seen too many people give nitrous a bad name because of low fuel pressure.

I have done it both ways. A lot depends on your fuel delivery system and HP level of the car. At present I run a BG400, 12AN line from the cell to the filter, 12AN fom the filter to the pump. The pump has an 8AN return line and I run 10AN from the pump output to a "Y" block with 1/2 inch inlets and outlets. One side of the Y goes to a BG 2 port and to the float bowls. The other side to a BG2 port, a Hobbs switch set at 5 pounds in series and then to the fuel solenoid for the N2O. Whether you have one pump or 2, if the N/A pump fails you will go lean, if the N2O pump dies, you will go lean. If the single pump fails you will go lean, but with the Hobbs in either case, it "should" shut the N2O off. I did discuss all options with both Barry Grant and NOS and NW. You can get a lot of different answers. So far so good. The key thing is the fuel..you might visit www.vpracingfuels.com. Most nitrous suppliers do not cover the fuels at all. And of course timing. 2 degrees for every 50 horse you use.
