Get a Supercharger and a spell checker and you should be OK

Nitrous will not hurt your engine all long as your tune is correct and you do not exceed what your engine can handle. Same is true for the s/c. I have more passes then I can remember on the 100hp setting, and about 23 passes on the 125, no problems except for a melted spark plug on one run.

As far as nitrous vs supercharger, a strong arguement could be made for both. In the end it comes down to your preference.

I like nitrous. I LOVE turbo/SC. Think about the 40 or 50 dollar a bottle refills. At 1 per month, it doesnt take long to pay for the SC or Turbo kit.

Well, a S/C costs around 4K. At $40 a refill, thats 100 refills. At once per month, that is 8.3 years!!

But lets be realistic. You probably will refill the bottle at least twice per month because its fun and addictive. Thats $80 per month + $1000 for the kit itself and all of the goodies (bottle heater, purge, blow down tube, fuel pressure gauge, Ht0 spark plugs, nitrous tune). So at that rate, you could be having fun for 37.5 months before spending the money on the S/C (assuming 4K is cost, and you install yourself).

$4000-$1000 = $3000 $3000/$80 per month = 37.5 months or just over 3 years.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have an s/c. I just can't wait 3 years to get one....

"At 1 per month, it doesnt take long to pay for the SC or Turbo kit."

I was meaning primarily a turbo kit - which can be done DIY for 1000 bucks. Also, there is the occasional SC kit on ebay for 2500 bucks or so. Sorry I wasnt a bit clearer - those are the prices I had in mind when stating "it doesnt take long"

So yes - for a 6 month Blast-O-Fun, as FresnoGT said - nitrous is the best bang for the buck.

i like turbos and superchargers, but i run nitrous to me it does more for me cause i have a carb car. I am running a plate kit so when i hit it it brings my intake tempature way down (which makes more power) And i don't have to spray it all the time so i am not killing my motor everyday and it does not see boost on a daily bacis.. I like both don't get me wrong..I have been beat by turbo/sc cars but i have also smoked a bunch to. so like stated above its all about what you like..
