Default High mileage + turbo?

So I'm thinking again about adding turbos on my 87 GT, but I'm worried that the high mileage on the engine (212,000) may cause problems.

Would bolting a turbo system onto this engine be asking for trouble, or would it be OK?

My target is around 450rwhp. I was thinking of running 8 or 9 psi.

87 GT hatch. Underdrive, Explorer intake + tb, GT40 irons, BBK long-tubers w/ matching cat pipe, Flowmaster 3-chambers.

If the compression and overall "health" of the engine is ok, i see no problem, BUT i would probably limit the boost to 5-6 psi. Remember turbos dont "waste" power like SCs so lower boost levels can give you the same ammount of HP.
