Default stock 2000 GT motor capable of 370+ rwhp with aod?

is there a way i can put 370+ rwhp with stock gt engine and stock transmission without something going ape ****?

Yes, 370 is pretty safe for your engine. Your still putting more wear and tear on it, but with a proper setup, it will last a good deal of time. Tune is everything, whatever route you go(N20, turbo, SC, NA), so be sure to have it tuned on a dyno by someone who knows their stuff. I wouldn't push too much over 400 rwhp, your bottom end is the weak link. If you are looking for more power, look into forged internals (pistons, rods, crank). DSS Racing has short blocks for a decent price and you can sell your original to make up some of the cost, or keep it as a back-up. Your transmission "should" hold up to the same power your stock bottom end will, but your clutch will need replacing.

i was asking about 370 with AOD which is probably equiv to 400 ish manual i would guess?

Good catch, I'm a little slow! The AOD should hold up as well, but again, your putting more of a strain on these components and they dont last forever to begin with. A cooler will help prolong the life of your tranny at that power level, I just wouldn't push much higher.
