Default Best starter supercharger?

I've been contemplating getting a baby blower for my LX since I like my Cobra's so much. With AFR heads running just a few hundred less, a blower may be in my future. Brother's catalog has Powerdyne, Vortech, and Paxton base line 6 pounders for $1900. Any opinions on these is appreciated and no I don't want anything bigger due to cost.

Vortech as #1 option, then paxton, and powerdyne a distant 3rd

Since vortech and paxton are the same company now, you can be assured that quality will be good either way... The two starter blowers from them would be the Vortech A-trim(may be the SC-trim not sure) and the Paxton NOVI1000. the NOVI is good for about 500HP were as the A-trim is good for about 450. Either is a good choice but Vortech does have a better track record as far as reliability...

If you want a good blower you can grow in to and still be good for starters get a Vortech S-trim... I have had 4 of them. I have also had the NOVI1000... It make better torque down low on a stock motor.

Ya dont get a powerdyne thats what my car had on it when I bought it. I have replaced the bearings twice and the belt needed replaced again. I hope I like the procharger I ordered.

Novi 1000 is the best choice. Stronger bracket and better belt design.
