Default Powerdyne Superchargers

Whats going on everyone. Found this on www.superchargersonline.com yesterday - wondering if powerdyne makes a good s/c, if their is anything missing from this kit, how hard is the install, and do chickens have large talons?

http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...=PD-K10196-101

check it out and tell me what u think - Am I ready for a s/c with my current mods????

Powerdynes lost market because the internal belt would break. Supposedly the new models last much longer, but since not many people use them its hard to tell if they last enough before you need to change the belt.

Check for Vortech and Procharger prices with www.joeblowracing.com, they sometimes have better prices than superchargersonline and their service is excelen..might be able to get one for the same price as the powerdyne.

And to your 2nd question, yes you are ready

I would not get one. My car had one when I first got it. I have replaced both the bearings and the belt twice and that was within 10k miles. It is not too hard to replace but you need a press and special bearing pullers. My dad had to make some to work one of the bearings is hard to get anything underneath it to pull against. I would not get one unless you found it for under $2500 and I would have to think hard about that. I could not get more than 6 psi with my motor w/ a 11psi pulley. And to answer your question if the belt goes bad you can just drive the car normal just like a regular intake but with a little retriction. "they could of fixed them but I would still be affraid"
