The problem would be mating the wider lower intake to the 4.6 engine (the 5.4 is wider). Some aluminum work has to be done like shaving some material and welding, or adapter plates fabricated.
There is really no straight way of mounting it without some fabrication.
And one more thing, the SC is just one part of the equation, you also need injectors, larger pump, reprogram the EEC, modify the belt routing..etc.
It is one of those projects where you need to know how to build stuff and have the tools (or know someone willing to do it for cheap). If you dont, it might be more expensive than buying a kit.
