Hey everyone, my cousin and I just installed an intercooled P1SC procharger in my 2002 gt, with 42 lb injectors. I went to the performance center to get a generic chip to get me around before I take it in to get it fully tuned next week. I started the car and it idled pretty rough, but I thought it could have been just the new injectors at first. I started driving home and the car just stalled out on me, I fired it back up and turned into a parking lot and parked and it shut off again. I started it up again while it was sitting and unless you are hitting the gas pedal, it wont stay turned on. I don't know what the problem is, is it because of the chip or because my fuel pump hasn't come in yet and that isn't installed? Anyway, I started the car up again and just kept my foot on the gas as much as I could to get the car back to my dads shop. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Most probably the chip you got has a wrong program.
Also something else to consider are the injectors, what brand you got?

I once installed a set of LUCAS injectors and pair were flooding the engine.

I don't know what type of injectors they are, the guys from the performance shop just put them in a box and they were all in bags, so I don't know what kind they were. I guess I will have to find that out, but I think it is something with the "generic" program that was given to me until i can get it fully tuned. But it seems like it just isnt getting enough fuel, hard to say, hopefully i figure it out this week.

What color are the injectors? any marks on them?
Did you notise the shape of the injector tip? (Lucas injectors have a weird arrangement with 4 holes), Ford Injectors have just one.

The injectors were green, i didnt really notice the tips, but i dont think they are lucas because i think ive heard them say at the performance center they dont like to use stuff from lucas

Have you had any luck I have been running in circles with procharger for the past 2 months with mine and it all leads back to the chip and injector calibtation

today, we got the fuel pump on and everything is fine. But, there was a pipe somewhere that was not connected all the way so that may have had a factor as well. still needs to be tuned though. the timing is a little off so the idle is still a little rough, but not bad.
