Default Super Charger and Exhaust

My plan is to install Vortech super charger with cooler to my -99 Cobra. Couple questions:

1. What do you think about Vortech? Does anybody has dyno data how much power it add? Vortech promise 170 hp with cooler.

2. Exhaust is important with Super Charger. What kind of exhaust you recommend? I already have Dynomax catback installed. It's good, because it's 3" all the way. Should I also install X-pipe? What do you recomment?

Plan is not to install anything else, but if there is something you recommend please let me know. Goal is to get ~450 rwhp.

I also have K&N filter already.

If you want 450rwhp is a lot to ask for nothing more than slapping a blower on. Throttle body, plenum, bigger MAF...the list goes on. Don't go into this thinking that once the blower is on the car that you're done. Once the blower is on, the work is only beginning.

Vortech is a good company. I've been with one for 3.5 years no problems with leaking. I would recommend you getting their aftercooler or another type of intercooler. The intercooler will help lower inlet temps.

With my SQ along with a paxton air-to-air intercooler and 10#'s of boost, bbk long tubes, bbk h-pipe, and mac cat back (2.5") i got 403rwhp and 384rwtq.

I'd reccomend going with either Dr. Gas or VRS for an x-pipe. It will probably be difficult to get Dr. Gas because they are busy with race season. VRS is a straight bolt on as Dr. GAS you would have to get welded. DR. GAS is the best x-pipe you can buy!

Mac exhausts flow really well too, that would be my pick.

hmm...thats really weird, every vortech guy ive talked to so far say that those units are just awesome, but for some reason the power is not even comparable to procharger. Now im not saying anything bad about vortech cause i love them myself, but im just wondering why that is. RiceH8R, i see all these mods u got plus an intercooler, and ur running 10 psi boost but ur only putting down 403...unless that was on a mustang dyno i think those numbers should be a little higher. All i got is and o/r x pipe and flowmasters welded in and with the basic procharger kit i put down 417/425 at the wheels with only 8 psi boost and IC. Is something wrong here...and i have another buddy whos got the same kit as me and his GT was totally stock and he still made 398 rwhp...with stock h pipe and catback and everything else.
