OK.... i know i want nitrous but dont know what else i need to get. Im thinking i need a bigger fuel pump, a better ignition, and a wet system because its safer... right?
Well... what IS the perfect setup? Exactly what will i need to run a 125 shot on my stock cobra motor which most defenitely does NOT need to get blown up.
How do we keep it safe?
What is the perfect setup?
Thanks for all feedback

I had the Nitrous Express kit on my GT when everything was stock and I was running a 150 shot. The only problem I had was that I had a nitrous backfire once and blew up the plastic air box so I changed it to a MAC CAI and no problems after that.
The stock clutch however wasn't up to the task of handling the power though. Soon got a Centerforce after the NX kit. If my GT could handle it I don't see any reason why a cobra shouldn't.

SUP. PICK UP THE NEW "MUSCLE MUSTANGS & FAST FORDS" MAGAZINE. IT INCLUDES AN INSTALL OF THE "ZEX" KIT ON A WELL WORN 147K MILE HATCHBACK, THE RESULTS ARE PRETTY INPRESSIVE! THEY TELL HOW TO KEEP IT SAFE ALSO. DEPENDING ON THE MILEAGE ON YOUR VEHICLE I RECOMMEND, NEW CLUTCH, FUEL PUMP, NEW GEARS(DON'T WANNA MAKE DIFFERENTIAL SOUP), BUT IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE SHOT. I WOULD KEEP IT LIGHT, AND STAY LIGHT! DON'T GET SLAP HAPPY AND LISTEN TO YOUR BUDDY OR THE GUY AT THE IMPORT SHOP UP THE STREET TELLING YOU TO GO AHEAD AND PUT ON THE 100-125HP JET, TALKING, "IT WILL BE ALRIGHT!" BLOOOOOOOOOOOOM! PUT PUT PUT PUT PSSSSSSSSSSHHHH!
Really? well in that article they put a 125 shot on that well worn 92 gt and had no problems... keep in mind i have a cobra motor... you think a 125 would be too much?

I've got the exact same question, with a '96 cobra. I've heard that the amount of nitrous you put it isn't what's important, but how you tune the whole system (fuel, timing, etc), but I don't have any personal experience yet. I'm thinking that a 125 shot should be ok if you set it up right. NOS's new NOZzle system looks pretty good to me, but it only fits GTs (2V)...
