Forged Rods on N/A motor worth the extra $200?

I am having a 351W crate motor built for my 65 coupe. The particular combination I am getting has been dynoed at the lowest, 470 fwhp. For an extra 200 bucks, I can get forged rods, which isnt really necessary on a 6k redline N/A motor, but it will lighten the whole rotating assembly and that combination has been dynoed at around 510 hp if i remember correctly. Do you think the extra 20-30 hp is worth the 200 bucks? I mean will I really notice it in a 3k lbs 65 coupe? I figure the tires will go up in smoke either way.

Definitely worth it 25 ponies for 200 bucks is a pretty good deal. Plus it gives you a little room to grow if you decide to throw a mild dose of boost or juice on it.

20-30 hp, from using forged rods?? If thats accurate, I'd pony up the coin.

I'm betting the motor with the forged components has a slightly higher compression ratio that gives it more power. Not that the forged components actually free up that much power. But hell yeah, come off the cash for sure if the numbers are all accurate.
