Default Help!!! Cant decide.

Hi,
I havent done much work on my car but now I'm looking for around 700-800 hp. I have to options and I cant decide. I can go for a Twin turbo and mods in the engine or I buy a complete engine from MBR specializing in Ford racing engines | McAllister Brothers Racing Engines for 15000$.
does anyone know anything about them? 04 cobra engine they are selling is really produces 750+hp?

I appretiate any help.

Thank you

YOU WILL NEED AT THE VERY LEAST A Dart iron 4 bold main block, either a 302 block, or better yet a 351 block. It will have to be built with all forged internals. H beam connecting rods, a strong set of rings not total seal. Low compression 8to1, and a turbo cam installed. I would use victor jr, heads with a victor jr. intake port polish of course. Its gonna cost you 8 to 12 grand for the 351, or a little less for the 302 version. Then a good turbo with all the fabrication work will cost about 8 grand. Toss a few grand in for this, and that then your good to go. The Best thing to do is talk to a shop that can do all the work for you. Give them the total amount of cash you have, and let them do all the work for you. A 15 thousand budget in mind is cutting it close. Make sure the quote they give you is for all the work. Including fuel upgrades fuel delivery issues and chip for the CPU.

Thank you for the information. problem is that I live in sweden and I have to order all the parts from Usa and it will be very expensive for me if I make the engine thats why I want to go for a complete engine which is already made.

have you checked this MBR specializing in Ford racing engines | McAllister Brothers Racing Engines . They are selling this 04 cobra whipple charged engine with 750+hp.
do you think this engine can really produce 750+hp and the price is worthed?

thanks again

I see the motor and For them to offer a full 1 year warranty is great. although it would cost a lot for you to send it back, I think it will give the horse power they say it will. Just ask them to dyno test and tune the motor, and break in the motor before they ship it to you.

I told them to break in the engine and thats what they say::

We cant break the engine in here because the shipping company's don't classify the engine new anymore and then they wont ship it. What you would need to do is pressurize the oil system and fire it up. We will send you the equipment needed to pressurize the oiling system with this engine also. It will need to be ran through a couple of heat cycles before going full throttle. We haven't had any problems with these engines after shipping. The biggest thing is just make sure when the engine reaches you that everything is fine after shipping.
