Hey, im new here and need some advice. First of all, im not exactly a car expert, definetly a novice. So my question is, i have a 1979 Mustang with a 5.0, i believe its a 302. What would be some good power adders to start with on this car. I just plan on using the car as a fun toy, take it out every once in awhile. But when im out and id like to have some solid power behind it if possible. Eventually id like to get a supercharger, but i have no idea what would be a good type or such.

So what should i start? Thanks in advance for all the help!

You will get lots of different opinions here. I would read a lot first and make sure you understand the pro's and con's of each system. Then you can make an informed decision.

Maybe you should just drive it for awhile. You may find it has plenty enuff power for you. If not, make some simple upgrades later on, and see how it runs.
