Question Supercharge Stock 5.0 Engine with Old Style Supercharger?

Ive got a stock 302 5.0, Im wanting the old style supercharger blower that sets on top of the engine coming out the hood , will everything work in conjuction with a complete stock rotating assembly, if not any suggestion on want needs to be done. Its not to be used for all out drag racing only for the intimidating looks and explosive launching on the street !

That would be a roots style blower, the ones you see that come out of the hood are normaly for carburated engines. Thats why the hood needs to be cut, you have the intake, blower and the carb above it. (check attached image)

One way to have the "madmax looks" in an EFI Mustang would be to use a KenneBell blower and fabricate an extension (between it and the lower intake) that raises it enough.

Any blower will work with a stock rotating assembly as long as you dont push too much boost into the engine and you use the correct tuning and fuel octane.
