Default zex dry shot on dohc...... ???????

I have just purchased a zex nitrous kit dry shot for my 96 cobra. I have a bbk62mm throttle body with intake port matched to the opening.BBK longtubes with offroad x, granitelli 80mm mass air, underdrive pulleys, msd wires, and flowmaster turn downs and 4.10 gears. I will be sct chipping and dyno tuning a 125 shot on 100 octane fuel. WHAT HP AND TQ NUMBERS CAN I EXPECT TO SEE TO THE WHEELS. Rough guesstamate.

U need to go wet it is the safest way to go u will have to be extra careful with your air fuel. No more than 75 with the dry win no tune. That is coming from someone running NX wet on my 99 gt with 114k miles with many bottle's through it with the stock compression.

No. A wet shot is the end of the 1996-1998 cobra intakes. That was told to me by a cobra motor builder and master. His name is cole from hci in sacramento CA he is one of the only people EVER to design and produce an aftermarket intake design for the 1996-1998 dohc's. He told me a wet shot will puddle on that intake. Not in the runners but at the bottom in the plenum. Its not a matter of if but when. But you are the only one to give me a response, so thank you. And your advice did not go in one ear and out the other. I listen to all.

Hey, thats not fair, I responded to your thread in the drag racing section .

Actually a wet shot can be run on these motors, they just need to be setup with a window switch to run after 3250 rpms (when the IMRC's open).

Is 100 octane fuel necessary?

My c.r. is 10.5:1 and i am unable to do forced induction, and was worried about using nitrous, but somebody once told me that nitrous loves high compression.

Can somebody explain this to me? Why can you run nitrous with high compression but not a s/c or turbo? Will a 150 wet shot be safe for that high of compression with hyper pistons?

When running nitrous do you have to increase your octane?
