Question What year(s) 351W trucks ran gt40 heads?

I've heard from many people that in the 90's Ford was looking for a way to get some more power out of their 351W trucks and decieded since they still had castings for the 64cc GT40 heads, why not use those? But I've also heard that they did not call them "GT40 heads"........ If anybody has anything they want to add to this, PLEASE DO!!!

My question is simply this: What year(s) ford trucks ran these heads??? Anything else I should know before I was to mill, valve enlarge and run them on a 400hp+ 351?? (this engine won't rev above 6500rpm)

Thanks guys!

Only the 93-95 Lightnings had GT40 heads. I have a set sitting in my garage along with my stock 94 cobra motor.

To get the HP numbers you are better off going with AFR or Trick Flow's.

Through my reading I learned the GT40 heads were originally designed for marine use. I've got them on my crate 5.0.--- Chuck
