Question Supercharge w. nitrous?

Hey guys.
I was thinking of getting a DSS Racing (http://www.dssracing.com) 331 stroker short block for my 86 GT.

Is it possible to supercharge the engine & run nitrous?

I guess what I'm asking besides it being possible, because anything
is possible, what would I need to do to do it?

I'm kinda aiming for somewhere around 550hp without nitrous.

I am kind of wanting to put Trick Flow R-series heads and a
Trick Flow cam in it.

All help appreciated.

Just make sure the internals are Forged.. dont want them breaking under pressure.. Unless its a really built engine specifically for that, you shouldnt be running a 200 shot of Nitrous and a S/C... but with an engine like that... you could probably get away with the S/C and maybe a sneaky pete setup where its only 50 HP if that... and if its not constant you can run it on the street just fine.
of course this is just my opinion.. There are better engine builders out there.

I'm just looking for most available (somewhat affordable) horsepower then the nitrous for that extra little push...overkill I guess you could say.

If you or anyone else knows of a website/websites that have some
engine combos for 302 and 351w that can offer 500+hp.

Let me know!

Thanks,I really do appreciate eveything.

Still learning about all this crazy car stuff. (Only been in love with cars..mainly Mustangs...for about 9 or 10 months.)

Stay away from DSS.

You can get away with probably a hundred shot or so, because with a blower it's merely cooling the air charge. Just be careful...it makes the tuneup even harder to nail.
