Air/fule mixture guage, fuel pressure guage, and the supplied(gen 2 upgrade) Nitrous pressure guage.

Because if you put it right next to the throttle body, you could end up with puddling( an excess of nitrous oxide) and that can lead to blowing the motor, the manifolds, etc. However the further away from the tb you mount your jet the less kick you will have. 4-6 inches is about average.

Do you have a steeda one? If not, then you dont have one to begin with. So it will be a good idea to get one.

Kurt you don't need a timing adjuster at all save your money and get something else don't spend money for nothing unless you want to, as for the nozzle installation i had mine right where the 90 degree elbow bends into the throttle body, right in the middle of the bend and you don't have to worry about puddeling because your system should be a dry system therfore it is liquid coming out of the bottle and once it comes out of the nozzle into the throttle body it turns to a vapor therefore you will not have any puddeling, your N.O.S. kit # should be 5171, for the G.T. that's what mine was. Thanks.

Blind527 i forgot about the gauge question, when i had mine i had the 0 to 1500 pound N.O.S. bottle gauge on the bottle and that is all i had, if you install the bigger fuel pump and use a bottle heater you will be ok if money is tight, the thermostst on the bottle heater will keep your bottle at around 900# which is where it should be to get the full effect of the shot, and then later as money permits you can get the other gauges if you want, don't get me wrong fuel pressure is important but with the bigger pump and the shot of N.O.S. the mixture was perfect on mine so you should be O.K.. Thanks.

Hey it is your car, and on here your gonna have differences of opinions. I personally have seen Mustangs on Nitrous blow because of ignorance. many were from poor setup because they ran hot plugs and their timing was bad. They had no way of adjusting the timing while the car was being tuned(if they even tuned it at all). I have even got several, plus 5 well known contry wide performance shop agree and recommend a timing adjuster. It is far from a waste of money being for 150 bucks you can gain almost 15 rwhp from it. Don't believe me, look at the MMFF tech article. Now where can you get that from any other mod that cost 150, and dont say pulleys, cause you cant get it from a pulley. As for puddling, yes it is a gas, however, it can tend to puddle if too close to the TB. Remember your intake is plastic.
As for nitrous kits, well the NOS 5171 system does not even compare to the NX kit. I would not waste my money let alone anyone elses on the NOS kit.

black fang, are your factoring in the fact you gotta put premium fuel in once your timing is adjusted? At least for us gt guys, that may be an issue! LOL

Becomes a little more than 150 bucks over the long haul

Course, here in ohio, premium is only a 1.30!

Later,
Jason

Blind 527 i also ran autolite platnium spark plugs and gapped them 10 degress colder, so instead of the normal 52 degress, i gapped them at 42 degress, i had no timing adjuster and everything worked fine, like blackfang said you will get a lot of opinions, so you be the judge, also do some research call N.O.S., call shops that install N.O.S. and they can help you, it is very important to do your homework, remember this is your Baby.Thanks.
