hey guys...I wanna put nos in my car...I know too much will blow my engine to pieces but i was wondering if i do like a small amount of 25 hp..then 50 hp....i can get one that adjusts from 25-150..If i got that..modified my engine more would it be good??? Like start off w/ 25 then modify engine go up to 50 then when my engine is really worked on go up to 100 then 150?

actually 75 would be good BUT to start off safe ill start off w/ 50 until i know 1000 % my car can take 75. People tell me that 75 would blow my engine up....

im looking at the nitrous express ford efi kit from steeda. 596.95 and it comes w/ bottle, brackets, solenoids, arming switch, full throttle activation switch ,wires and jets to adjust nitrous output for 25,50,75,100,150 hp. are you positive a 75 shot won't hurt it!??!!!

Sorry you got ripped off. I can get that same kit for 100 dollars less at MustangX.com You can easily use a 75 shot on a stock engine.Be sure to use 1 or 2 heat reanges cooler, and to adjust your timing as you increase the gas. EFI means electronic fuel injection and yes thats what your car is. The dry kit is better being it will not puddle inside your intake madifold like some wet kits can do. Also dont mount the nitrous jet right before the throttle body. 6 inches away would be better. Good luck remember Nitrous Express rates their hp at the tires not the crank. So you are getting 75 hp at the tires.

ok so if i got a nitrous express kit and it says a 75 shot is that too much since its at the wheels? Do i need all these aftermarket things such as an upgraded bottle to 15lb a genx-2 upgrade, nx automatic bottle opener,autometer tach adapter, or the msd window switch? what is the 1 or 2 heat reanges???

ok ive asked this a couple times but i never asked about a 100 shot of nitrous on my stock 97 gt, will it be able to hold it???? If it can't what upgrades can i make for it to handle it??? i am buying timing gears.

Yo Blind527, as far as a 100 shot you should start thinking about a 190 L.P.H. in tank fuel pump, or a 255 L.P.H. in tank fuel pump, i used to run a 150 shot on my 97 and it worked sweet but i had a Walbro 255 L.P.H. in tank fuel pump installed, and that is all you need to do, along with the Mac cold air kit i had everything worked sweet, if anyone tells you, you need more than the fuel pump they are blowing smoke, trust me if you go 100 or higher i would install the fuel pump, and if you are like most of us once you race and get beat you will be shoting a 150 shot in no time, and don't forget to get new drag radials, with a 150 shot you will never hook up on street radials, i have been there and done that, and i noticed Kurt that you have 4:10's with a 150 shot and those gears you will defenitly need slicks, way to much power, and if you can hook up you will be very hard to beat.
