Default Need Vortech rebuild information...Please

Hi guyz, I'm new to the forum as far as posting, (Great forum) Has anyone needed to send a Vortech back to the factory for a rebuild? I think the bearing is on it's way out and everyone I've talked to (Mustang performance places) tell me it has to go back to Vortech. It's a V1 S-Trim. I was wondering if any of you has had a rebuild and about how much it cost. I haven't contacted Vortech yet, that will be the next step. I just wanted an idea from anyone before I do. Thanks for any help.

Here is an alternative to the high priced Vortech service.

Sending my A Trim to him next week.

Thanks for the info. Do you know anyone who has done business with them? Please let me know how you make out. I haven't contacted Vortech yet, been trying to do some homework first before I make a move. Did these guys already quote you some kind of a price or do you have to send it to them first. One of the places I went to in my area is a Vortech dealer and he told me it had to go back to Vortech and would be between $600. and $800. depending on a minor or major rebuild. That's why I'm looking around. Thanks again for the info. Keep it touch......Dennis
