Default 1998 Cobra w/ blower what cams?

1998 cobra running a vortech blower . have to do an engine rebuild so i am planning to replace the cams at the same time . any suggestions on what profile to get the best performance ?

I'd go with Comp Cams. For the non PI engine, they (at last count) had 3 profiles. The small one is on the mild side and the biggest needs some serious engine and computer tuning. I'd go with the Stage 2 series. They work well with blowers.

He has a cobra, which is NOT a 2V engine. Might want to rethink your post now....

'scuse, misread it but the same theory still applies. There's 3 cam profiles, still go with the Stage 2.

I wouldn't suggest a "stage 2" set of cams for a 4V. The stock cams can support well over 650rwhp.
