1972 Mustang 351W, Can It Handle 800 Horse Power?

I have a 1972 351W and am going to go big. I am planning on 800HP and was wondering if the block will be able to handle it?

This is the set up I plan on going with: 408 stroker with a 300 shot of nitrous.

All info is greatly appreciated.

For a factory block, 800 hp would be a death sentence in a short amount of time. The block will crack in the mains area and also in the lifter valley. For that amount of power, you should step up to one of the Dart blocks to make sure it can handle it, especially if you're willing to spend that much money.

What would be a reasonable safe goal then? I am really shooting for 700HP and I have heard these blocks can handle it....
