Talking Installing a Paxton on my 65

Today we got the carb modified and installed enough to fire up this puppy. Geez it fired right up and the blower howled and I was in heaven. When you rev it up it sounds mean I can't wait to drive it. After relocating the alternator to the drivers side we noticed its not lined up quite right that needs to be fixed. It seem we bent the dip stick tube so I'll have to get a new one. The damm mechanics at work wanted to go home early today so we couldn't finish it(what jerks), Heck I was willing to stay. With any kind of luck it'll be on the street thur. or fri.. Anyway Merry Christmas everyone except of course my mechanics j/k

sweet looking motor! I'm curious how forced induction works with a carbed motor. How does the car figure out how much gas to jet into the car? Is it enough? With our fuel injectors...our computers easily figure things out by using a multitude of sensors to figure out how much and when to put the fuel in. Does your system have a computer and sensors that you have to put in?

its just trial and error with adjusting the jetting and A/F adjustments. there isnt a computer to worry about. ive seen quite a few 67-68 saleens with this setup. my dads got a 671 on his ranchero.
