Default Someone clarify something on the Zex (n20) kit

OK, in one of the mustang magazines it says zex makes a system for 125 hp shot. On some ads in the magazine i read that, meanwhile I literally turn the page and i says the highest HP gain you can get is 75 hp. What is going on? Zex's website is down, so i can't ask them..anyone have an answer? Anyone have a zex kit on their mustang? Please share your experiences.

Thanks
Henry

Default disclaimer

ZEX provides nozzles/jets for the HP you want. They have a disclaimer that 75 is the most HP they recommend for stock vehicles and don't recommend more HP unless the engine is highly modified, piston, rods, cranks..ect.

i would not recomend the zex kit. It does not have a fuel pressure drop cutoff safety. That means if your fuel pressure drops, it doesnt know the difference, and boom, a new engine would be needed. I would go with N.O.S. or Nitrous Express.

None of the base kits come with FP cutoff switches, they're optional.
The ZEX kit only comes with 75hp jets on the import engines.
The 5.0/4.6 kit comes with 75,100, and 125 jets.
I would NOT recommend running nitrous without a window switch.

None of these kits come with a window or hobbs switches, these are both options you should add on along with a bigger fuel pump.
Where the ZEX system really differs from the NOS system in that it has all the solinoids located inside a box that is easy to hide and it uses the TPS to trip the solinoids instead of a microswitch on the throttle body. The Zex system for the mustang comes with jets for 75-100-125 shots, I have used all three with no problems(except traction),and have since called ZEX and was given the jet sizes for 150-175-200 shots which is the max that the solinoids can handle. I have not run the 150 shot yet because of major traction issues im having now with the smaller shots but I plan to later. The 175-200 shots are really to big for most stock motors and would require a built motor with forged internals, but its nice to know I could if I wanted at a later date. To sum it up if you want to go the tried & true way then stick with the NOS, but if you want a system that is a very stealthy and clean instalation check out the ZEX. Here are some pics of my system:
