Default Stroker Kits?

Is there a stroker kit for a 428?
If so does someone have a link to
a place that sells them?

Thanks.

Just be very careful of coast high. I'm currently not very happy with the 347 kit I recieved and am working on getting them to fix it. They did not seem to interested in talking to me about what exactly I was looking for when building the motor (should have been first indication) then they did not ship all my parts. The ones they did ship took weeks to get here and I had to call 4 times asking about it before they finally pulled it off the shelf (4 weeks after order was placed) to start working on it. If you are really interested in someone who will take pride in their work and seem to really know what they are doing talk to JUSTNLX (moderator) he has some good contacts at Scat.

You can view this thread in the 5.0 forum if you would like to see some pics of my CHP 347 kit and tell me what you think about their work on the heads Stage 3 Canfields (supposed) and the crank.

If I cannot resolve my issue with CHP then I will be returning the kit for a SCAT one instead myself. Just wish I had went that way first time around.

Thumbs up

Dale,

Sorry to hear about the problems you had with Coast. I have their 331 kit in my 65 ragtop, and have never had a problem with Coast or the motor. I did not do much research when I bought the kit, but after talking with Tony last Sunday if I did it again I would look more closely at Scat. Bottom line is, shop around and ask more people, that is what makes this web site the best....NETWORKING.....

I have a buddy with a Cobra. I will ask him where to go for an FE stroker. Dove manufacturing is the name that pops into mind, but I will ask him

The owner George is my salesman. I told him I would send him some pics of this crank and give him the chance to look at it and see what he says. I'll post the email on the forums and his reponse. Should be interesting for all to read..
