Depends on what year your motor is, what condition its in, and what else you intend on adding.

On a Stock motor, you won;tneed a Twin Turbo Set up, but yes Turbo is a great way to add power.

Default twin turbos why not

I just recently finished putting twin turbos on a 427w in a 84 convertible. turbos on a stock motor works fine if you keep your boost under control. you can make power at 8 lbs of boost and probable go forever, crank it up to 12-14 lbs lots more power but not a real good idea , maybe a trip to the track or a street race. put a manual boost controller in your car nd a boost gauge and pay attention!!! a good site that helped me is Turbo Forms.com Tons of info!!!!

Just my 2 cents lol. To the guy with the ? of twin turbo. it depends first of all how much power you want. then what all do you plan on doing internally to the motor, transmission, and gearing. You can call any turbo shop and tell them what you want to do and that is a big help or get the math to figure it out yourself like i have. But to me the guys quote above is a hole lot of money for just a little 450hp mustang lmao. My buddy runs a single and gets 1500 and some change but his is full drag though. but i also have bros that run 1/8th mile ets of 4.20 flat that street race more than drag. So it all depends on what you want out of it.

I built and sold one of those kits. Honestly, the turbos, manifolds, and all the other parts looked great. I fabricated downpipes for the kit, and ended up selling it before I installed it on one of my cars. Only thing with the eBay kits is the turbo quality. Just like with anything, you get what you pay for. If its just a budget style build up, I'm sure they'll hold up for awhile. You can always upgrade the turbos down the line.

Hey I just read an article in MM&FF about a turbo'd 5.0L. Thought you would like to hear it. They bought a HP Performance Turbo (60mm T4 Turbo) and hooked it up to a basically stock 88 mustang. The numbers it made were pretty incredible. it made 433 hp and 493 lb-ft of torque. That was runnin 10 psi. They added more boost and got more but I can't remember what it added up to but just thought that was interesting. A single turbo can go a long way.

unless you are well versed at welding and at metal fabrication dont mess with these. i personally put one of these on a clients' car and it was a pain in the a-- and a complete hassle. dont do it. the pipes look pretty but DO NOT FIT!! you really only need a single turbo to get to 450 hp. my 93 is bone stock with o ringed heads and head studs and i am at 482/518 with a velocity turbo systems turbo kit and some light alcohol injection

I was also interested in buying this kit from ebay for about $995.
I know a thing or two about turbos and these turbos must be some chinese turbos with poor quality. But like some said, you can always upgrade to some real brand later.
But that the headers does not fit, is a bad sign.
That proves that the complete kit is a joke.
Thanks for that information forst 01.
Now i'm NOT going to buy it.

maybe i got that wrong. You said that the pipes do not fit. I think i got it wrong.
Did the headers fit?
And did the turbos fit on the headers without so much modifications to the rest of the car?
I'm having a 94GT and the kit is for 79-93.
Is there some chance that it will fit a 94, i'm thinking about the headers and turbo location.
