It all depends on a number of things, how much boost, how built is the engine?. As far as heads, something very high flowing like AFR-185's or TFS-TW with a stage 3 port job. Intakes, short runner like Cartech or Edelbrock Vic Jr. or Holley or TFS. A short runner will be better for high boost and high RPM. Cam, a big lift won't hurt like 600 and a small overlap. You want the air to be flowing as much as possible. Just some things to think about. Tons of different combos.

I have an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, full port work, on mine. Incon, while they were still around, said this one works great on the street. Any one of the heads blown89 mentioned will work fine

As far as cams, Incon had dynoed well over 600 hp with the stock cams. This is what I'm running in mine with 1.7 rockers. If you must change your cam, look at one with no less than 114 degs lobe seperation 116 degs being best. for left .10 more on the exhoust side than intake and at least 10 deg more duration on the exhoust side than intake. I've talked with allot of people in the know, and most say stick with the stock cam it really works great with turbo's.

I have a Scat 331 kit and I'm very pleased with it. My block is 60 over so it will be a 337

That set up is great for a smokin daily driver, but if you want something wicked, have a custom grind turbo cam made. Any of the good machine shops can do it, D&D, Probe or www.mpgheads.com The stock cam's work well but a custom cam will add so much more.

Blown89 sorry to say but 60% of your info is wrong. First off i have seen many Mustangs run DEEP into the 9s with stock cams, and they work very well on stroker kits as well. you dont need big lift cams to make a turbo spool, im sorry but 600" lift cams is not a must and In my Opinion very unstreetable.
I also know who Scott main (sp) is and i have not seen many turbo cars come out of his shop and Terry at Mustangs Unlitmited is a MORON! and if you talk to him you can tell him i said that and ask him when hes going to build a car that runs faster then 12.0s

Now to the topic at hand.....since your are dealing with a Turbo you do not need all that high dallor stuff that one would need to superchargers or Nitrous setups. I have alot of friends that run well into the 10s with even Junk Yard TT setups with BONE STOCK 5.0s! Stroker kits are nice but it depends on HOW and WHAT you plan to do with your Mustang. I do agree that TFS TW heads are a nice way to go i even have a pair on my Twin Turbo 50h, and they will work very well with my system.

Let me ask this what is the plans for this car ? is it a street/strip car? a full track car ? etc. what kind of HP/TQ numbers are you looking to make ? what boost numbers? give us more info on what your plans are.

I agree with that as I now run the stock cam in my set up but I really would like a custom turbo oriented grind (I'm just too cheap/not overly convinced to buy one). When I first built my set up a few years ago, I ran an E-cam. The car ripped with it, but it had horrible idle and cruise conditons (this was before the EEC-Tuner/twEECer days) so I switched back to the stock cam. Now that I have a twEECer (and can almost use it effectively LOL) I kinda wish I had of not sold the E-cam
