Thinking of getting a snows performance water meth boost cooler for my car i have a 98 gt with a svo roots blower with 10psi boost no intercooler so im looking for something to cool the charge and was doing some reading on this system and it looks good on paper, does anyone out ther use one and can give me their honest opion on it? thanks in advance Chris

I put one on my 05 6.0L diesel f350 super duty.Mounted a 5gal tank under the truck to hold water. I use to run meth/water mix now I run water only.Does it work He'LL yesWhat do you want to know?I have the stage 3 system.it has a shut off switch, a boost only setting or a boost & EGT setting.I get better MPG in city, city/ freeway and freeway city no water 9 to 10 mpg water same driving 13mpg - fun driving 12-12.5mpgfreeway five people no load no water 13mpg - water with 10 to 20% meth 24mpg city/ freeway 15 mpg having fun towing heay loads 15mpg that includes climbing steap grades fo to 5000 feet at average speed of 70 mph not even breaking a sweat.average mph range while towing 60 to 85.I dont use meth in it anymore because my new tune is set for water only. I find I get 25 miles per quart of water - 100 miles per gal using the boost only mode more mile per gal if I use the boost and egt mode. Over all it works power increase 20hp water only. not bad concidering the price of water, power increase goes up with meth and amout of meth used you can get a 70hp increase using meth. You can get better info from snow pre. I stater using straight liquid nito OR water in the 70's on my Harley still have that same bike same engine runs strong as ever. now I use water meth in it because liquid nitro is very hard get and costly.Used correctly it can prolong engine life increase preformance, the power is Slight but it is there.it is good add on for turning the 1/4mile. Thanks alot i think you answered my question where else you gonna get say 50hp with water and meth! And the kit i was looking at was only 400 bucks! Makes you wonder why more people dont use it.

Look at Rick Andersons Mr. Freeze kit.

Just as good as Snow and cheaper.

A water/meth kit should only be used as another power adder, don't use it as a bandaid for not having an intercooler. You can get yourself in a lot of trouble that way as it is easy to run out of the stuff.

Other than that it's a great way to get cheap power.
