Default 2007 Mustang GT Supercharger (How long have you been supercharged?)

I currently have an 07 GT and am looking to add a Procharger HO intercooled kit. For those of you who are running superchargers on stock internals, how are things going for you? I see all these crazy numbers i.e 450+ rwhp on stock internals but rarely read post about these guys blowing their motors. I know it's happening to some of you guys so let me know something. I'm not shooting for super high HP numbers but really want a strong (at least over 375rwhp) daily driver. Is it possible to achieve a reliable car with these type of numbers?

I've only have my whipple for a week and its putting down 493hp at the wheels. The only chance I really had to drive it so far is on the 3 hour trip from the shop back to my house.
I dont plan on using my stang as my daily driver but I would think that 375-400rwhp would be a reliable DD as long as you didnt stick your foot thru the floor board all the time.

I am running a Vortech 10psi Supercharger w/charge cooler kit on my '05 v-6. I am getting slighlty over 300hp/300torque @rear wheel. I race on an 8th mi track during summer and daily driver year round. I think key to longevity is race when you are at the track, not everytime you run to the store for a gallon of milk

I think if you stay under 400 horsepower you will be good.

I am making 466 at the rear wheels and am confident that the internals should hold up. I have had my Whipple for 5-6 months and 3500 miles and have had no issues. I don't run it to the red very often, but when I do it really responds. Take a look at the Whipple, I think the power increase is more linear(therefore more drivable). I just worked on an Expedition with a Procharger and found it to be very much like a turbpcharger(turbo lag).

I had a P1SC Procharger HO for over a year until very recently. Car had stock motor at that time and pushing about 480 rwhp at 10 lbs. I was always a little nervous with the stock block but had zero issues. Procharger was a wonderful unit...loud though...jet engine sound at about 1500 rpms in any gear. Regardless of desired power level...get a good dynotune. I sold it and new owner has a 12.2 in the 1/4 already on street tires but also blew his stock transmission. So it's not just the stock block you should consider.
