Default 1997 Mustang GT... Supercharger fuel question

I have been reading a lot of good info on setups for supercharging Mustangs and the like, but when I read Vortech's info, they say the only way to use their setup is with a FMU. I dont really wanna use an FMU on my fuel system. Id rather all the other components be the right things to do the job. I feel like Vortech just uses it as a bandage for the stock 19# injectors not being good enough. What do you guys think? Can I use bigger injectors to get away from the FMU or do I just pay the piper and not worry about using something like that?

Question two. Vortech recommends using their Trex pump, even though it is 50GPH @70PSI. What about the Focus fuel pumps? I currently have a Walburo 255LPH pump that is to be installed in tank, but yet again Vortech's info says otherwise. Whats your take?

One more... the Diablo Maf-ia thing. Adjusts your stock Mass air sensor... any good? would it work with the above setup and bigger injectors?

Sorry for the book, Im confused!

So does Vortech. They give you everything. I have a Vortech. Guess thats what I will install. I am just looking for a more professional way to do things, thats all.

Its hard to get anyone to respond in this forum. Seems nobody comes to this part of the board so Ill chime in. I may have already given my two cents on a different thread you posted in the 4.6 forum, but Im going through the same issues right now myself. I have a 2000 Gt and am putting on a Procharger.

Im going to install the Focus svt pump. With yours being a 97 Im not sure if yours is a returnless system or not. That would determine if the Warlboro pump will work. My understanding is that it will work, but they go out quickly as they are designed for the return style system.

As far as the diablo MAF-ia goes, there are several guys with SC's that have used that and are very happy with it. It resolves the pegging issue on the Factory MAF. MY mechanic didnt want me to use that. Instead i got the 90mm SCT Big Air Maf which is a complete blow through MAF. Either one will work fine.

97 had a return style.
All I need to do now is install and find out if everything will work. You guys have given me a lot of good info... but one more!!!

What is the ideal fuel pressure for supercharging a stang? I need to adjust my regulator and dont know how much it should be. I have heard right about 36psi
