Home Page Sign In Issues

Well I just noticed a couple times the past day, the red text and sign in options that are on the home page remain, even if you are already signed in. Im am signed in on the site, as I can post threads obviously, but when I go to the home page it still asks me to sign in. If I click on forums, it shows me as signed in though. Previously, once you signed in, the red text up top disappeared. Thought you might want to check into it. Might be confusing for newer members.

I clicked remember me, whats weird is Im still signed in even when the page appears. I kept signing in over and over, and eventually I figured out I was signed in, the home page just has that permantly there now??? For example, after I posted the thread, I clicked on home. The attached photo is the page I got. I did not enter anything in the box, just clicked on forums as usual, and I am still able to post as my usual self. I believe the error is, if it is occuring for all users, the settings are so that page with the sign in text will appear to all users, not just users who are not signed in. As of a couple of days ago, if I was signed in and clicked home, the upper part would not be there. If its just me experiencing this, just ignore me, it seems as if special things tend to happen to me on this site.

It's there for me. I know they are reworking the forum, trying to fix some issues. Probably has not been reset yet. No biggie as long you can still post!

10-4. Just letting yall know. I just would hate for some newer guys to think it wasn't letting them sign in.

... keep reporting problems, so they know what needs to be fixed!

I too had noticed that. But for me it was not really important.... and here is why....

It didn't affect the Forum itself, only the Main Page. No matter what that said (which was always that I had not signed in), the Forum itself had me logged in. So I now just ignore that page and continue on to the main forum.

With that said... it probably should be corrected.

But it does not really affect the main forum or a member's ability to actually BE logged in.
