Immediately after I joined this forum last week my E-mail went to ****. Now I get a couple hundred mails a day stating in a variety of ways that the e-mails I sent to places all over the world were returned as undeliverable. Some are in foreign languages. They cover a wide range of subjects and such but I never sent any of these mails. I haven't done anything else unusual other then join this forum. I don't belong to any of the music download sites or file sharing sites or face book or my space or any of that stuff. Has this happened to anyone else and is so how did you correct it? OK so I visit an occasional porn site BUT I DON'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING OK?

And therin lies the problem. Talking with a lot of network guys from different companies I've contracted/worked for you don't have to download anything. A simple visit to most sites like that will net your PC a "gift"
I've never heard of any one having virus issues from any of the forums I'm on so I think the last thing you mentioned is your problem.

You definitely have some kind of ratware on your machine (not from AFM). If it’s simple spyware you may be able to remove it with either Spybot Search and Destroy, or Lavasoft’s Ad-Aware. Both have free versions for personal use. If your machine’s been zombie’d, you may have to use more drastic measures, up to and including wiping the HD and re-loading the system. You could also try some of the reputable ant-virus programs, though once infected they may not always work. Good luck …
Never had an issue here almost 3 years. Have gotten spammed from other sites though! AVG works great!! Yahoo has a great spam guard, a few get through, tag them and they do not come back!!

+1 on Lavasoft Ad-Aware, its simply the best program for junks on your computer, i use it everytime something funny happens to my computer and then its gone no issue, i even fixed my friends computer with just running Ad-Aware and nothing else + its free.
BTW AFM is virus free, you should bring your porn habit down a notch

While you may or may not have spyware on your PC, the issue you are describing is not related specifically to your PC. What has happened is that someone else has a PC that contained your email address as one of their contacts. That PC is contaminated with a virus which uses the email contacts it finds to send itself out to other PCs; in doing so it "spoofs" the from address using the email contact name(s) it found on that PC. In this way when it sends itself out to an email address that is not valid the return address for the "undeliverable" message is the "spoofed" address, which in this case is your email address.
You definitely should be running anti-virus software on your PC; I always recommend Norton 360 to my clients.
