I have noticed it does have to do with the time of day in most cases.
Also shorter thread titles have less problems.
The site tech has been working on that problem.

Well this is worse then normal. My posts are still not showing up, on my screen, for a few minutes. Also when I go back to the forums page, the threads are not updating themselves. Usually, threads I have read will change color and the most recent posts will show up after I refresh/load a new page, but now this is not happening. All threads that I read still show up as unread, those I have recently posted in are not showing the arrow thingy and new posts by other members are not showing up as the newest posts. If I click on a thread it still shows the old version of threads, but if I refresh multiple times, new post will show up. My internet is working properly, and I have no problems on other sites. Whats wrong with me? Has this Swine Flu infected AFM
And I've already upgraded from dial-up, when I couldn't look up mustang parts, I knew it was time for a change.

Ive cleaned my cookies, restarted the computer, run a virus scan, defragmented, deleted cookies again, logged out then back into the site, and still nothing. My posts don't show up on the pages with lists of threads for at least 5-10 mins, threads I read don't change colors period, and when I enter a thread, often the newest posts don't show up????? Any other ideas?
Oh, and its not the internet connection, it did it while I was at home and Ive been in the hospital the past two days and its still doing it. I might need to get the doctor to come in here and diagnosis the problem, maybe he'll have more luck with this then with finding out what is wrong with me.

have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting or shutting off your computer...disconnecting your internet router if you have one for a few minutes then reconnecting it.. sometimes its the itnernet or just your computer being retarded lol
Good news, I found out the problem. I tried the suggestions to no avail, but when I started exploring my computer options, I found the answer. In an attempt to protect my computer I had changed the options for when to update pages I frequently view. Dumb dumb me changed the setting so it never automatically looked for new versions, and thus, I kept getting the same ole page. I changed the setting back to automatic, and Im working like normal. Thanks for the help.
