Default 1984 GT350 Registry

I know theres at least a few others on here.

Tell us about your GT350. How did you get it? Any mods now or that your planning? Any intresting stories? And put up some pics of it.

I got mine for $2500 from a guy in Rochester, MN. I was working in Nebraska when i found it, just sent my friend the money and had him pick it up for me. It has a Speed Demon Carb and i just put new touring tires on it. Every few days i get a thumbs up from a driver passing by.

Things i plan on doing in the near future are getting new rims, lowering springs, and putting 'G.T.350' emblems were the ponies are on the fenders (already have them, just too damn cold to go outside and do it). Im also debating weather or not im going to paint it.

Default Nice Gt 350

Hey bro i also have an 84 G.T. 350. I love driving it and getting thumbs up. So far i have upgraded the exhaust to the true duals found on the 87-93. I got headers and an o/r h-pipe. Trying to find a cat back that doesn't sound like the ones around here. Upgraded to 10-hole wheels. Although i still have the original trx's w/50,000 miles on them. I got my car from a old lady that was going thru a divorce..only paid 2K for it. She couldn't drive a stick so she got rid of it. all original including the dash plaques. Upgraded the intake and carb. They are nice cars and it really nice to know that you are driving one of only 5,000 or so made. Although im curious as to how many had my combination. 5.0/ carb/ t-tops/ cruise control/ and rear defrost.

If i remember correctly there were only around 250 with T-tops. Im so jealous right now. Mine doesnt have the plaque, i was hoping it did just so i could see what the production number was.

Mines got headers and an X-pipe, dunno what the stock setup is so i dunno if its modified.

Id be so pissed if i were her ex-husband lol. She was probably like "That *******, ill hit him where it hurts, ill just sell his mustang"

EDIT: Yours looks like its in really good condition too. Mine only has a few small spots of rust along the top of the hatch and 2 or 3 on the front edge of the hood, and when i say small i mean like pencil tip small. Its clear around the wheel wells, along the bottom of the doors, under the car, around the windows.

Default Plaques

There is actually a seller on EBAY that sells replacement plaques. And i also have a website that sells replacements. I ordered one for $125 and had my name put on it at an trophy shop, but i still have the original one though. I'll post that site later on today.

Default boought mine 3 months ago but just fiund out its a GT-350

My brother-in law was selling his mustang for $5,800 and let this guy take it for a test drive. Obviously impressed with the car when he got back he started counting out the money and the car died in the process. When they opened the hood there were smoking wires and the car would not start, so the buyer took his money back and the car sat for almost a year. At thanks giving dinner just playing around I offered him $1.200 for it and my little sister made him sell it to my surprise. It took me about an hour to get it running, it was just a loose ground and that is the story of how I got my 350-GT. He told me the motor had been bored out but I had no idea it would be so fast, and just a guess but judging by the way it shakes the earth at an idle It has to have had a cam job. It's got a 347 stroker that's been bored .30 over, racing headers, edelbrock rpm performer intake with a massive holly four barrel sitting on it. MSD A6 ignition controll box with a blaster2 coil, MSD plug wires and distrubuter. To try and keep all those horses on the road she's got 3.55 gears in the rear and Cooper Cobras all the way around. Hell, the rims and tires are worth what I paid for the car. It has 60,000 original miles. I was excited to learn that it might be a 350-GT, And sure enough when I looked I saw where the 20th anniversary emblem and name plate had been removed. Its also been repainted so there were no obvious signs. It's awesome to know that I own one of the less than 5,000 that were made, no telling how many are actually left on the road.

I bought mine back in 84. I drove it every day for years. Parked it for about 10yrs. It's back on the road now. I do have the dash plaque, but not the other. I don't know what unit number it is, the VIN number just tells the unit number (along w/all other mustangs). I still have the org. wheels but I smoked up the tires long ago. It was cheaper to buy a set of custom wheels and tires than buy the org. tires. I did do some slight engine modes, I didn't want to go to crazy, buy wanted to run with the cars of today ( and I do). Have fun and stay safe.
