Hey Mustangbaxter, I see that your Mustang has the tan interior like mine and, seeing what other people have in various forums, it's a pretty rare combination (-->LL + Tan). You will love it, congrats !!!

18 and counting,:thumbsup seven v6's, seven GT's, four GT Verts
I'm directing all newcomers to this post. Anyone sees a LL owner in the forums, without the LL 0000, point them this direction.
Here's what we need:
1) user name
2) LL # (issued)
3) first/last name
4) city,state
5) type (v6, GT, deluxe or premium)
6) interior type and color
7) body (coupe or vert)
8) pony born on date
9) stabled (purchased) date
10) e-mail address
Those of you missing your pony's date of birth, here ya go.
Ford Customer Relations, 1-800-392-3030. You will need VIN #.
Any trouble, let me know. Any ideas for number 11 ?

I haven't been at the cape lately, but for sure I brought my "baby" out to some beach area, but more up north...south Boston (Castle Island), Quincy, Braintree, Scituate...
So it wasn't me...But good to know that someone else is down there with another limey !
Around here I have only seen one other GT (in Redfire though), several V6's (black+min. grey) and a black V6 vert...nothing else...
Probably with the weather (hopefully) improving, I am sure many others will come out with their ponies...

Is there one ? If not, let's start one. Anyone interested ?
Thanks for any input.
Somewhere, many months ago, in some hidden thread, I suggested a Legend Lime registry similar to two other ones that already exist. One is the famous website yellowmustangregistry-com, and Mach1registry-com...I believe.
There is a very good story about the guy that started the yellow registry list and how it evolved into a very thorough and large club within the Mustang owners.
I believe you should do as I have with my checkbook, my payroll information, and the registry that I keep with the GoldWing 1500 members. Put it on a laptop. And keep it updated as often as possible. The influx in the beginning may be a little overwhelming, but I like the idea that you give them a MEMBER #...Many large clubs have used that system for years.
Vin numbers are used in the Corvette and higher end car clubs to show when certain options may have been available and at what plant, and other crucial info to determine if a car is CORRECT or if it was added later to look like it was CORRECT from the factory.
You guys seem to know most of this stuff with all the great members of this forum already.
Good luck with your registy...and getting a VIN number will help keep them in sequence in an EXCEL program that comes with most Windows computers.
You can either sort by VIN, by STATE, or by Member joined number with just a click of the mouse.
The Mach1 registry has an added benefit that you simply do all the numbers on a webpage, and it will be added automatically. IT appears that they dont need some of the beginning of the VIN number, but need the last 6 numbers to keep them sorted.
You have to remember that the other two clubs have the benefit of larger amount of members of Yellow Stangs for the last 10 years, and Mach 1's back to 1969...to keep track of all of them.
Its a lot of fun the longer that you do this job but it has to be thorough to keep its credibility.
Perhaps after a while see if one of the magazines will post a website for Legendary Limers that are not aware and dont belong to this forum.
I just did a google of Legend Lime registry and it looks like this s197 webpage is trying to keep track of all the 05 Mustangs. I suppose the Color will be sorted as he builds his database.
If you try to register your car there, it will show the format that they are using for their webpage, but it will also say at the HOME page that it is still currently under construction.
You may want to establish a web address if the one you want is still available.

Reason: more info
Hey guys, I posted some more pics in my gallery...nothing special, just my car, no mods or other, but hey if someone wants to take a look at it...there she is...
PS: the few pics with the snow is when I got her (half an hour after taking those pics, we had a Northeastern storm...almost 2 feet of snow where I am located...), the others are of a couple of weeks ago. If someone notices a small tv-like thing sitting on the dashboard, it's my Garmin C330 Gps navigation system.
(it's a secret, but I am posting this to keep this thread on the front page as well... ...)

Does anyone here have louvers on their car? I have looked and looked around however have not been able to find any pics of a LL with Louvers. I am picking up my car this weekend and would really like to get some.

Legend Lime GT, 5spd, Black Leather, ISAP. If you can beleive it ordered 4/5/05 and got my VIN 4/8/05. Build week 4/25/05 released from plant and shipped convoy on 4/27/05. Should arrive at dealer ship for pickup on 5/9/05. Thanks 3rd1 for the Great info on and outstanding dealer.
None here...only seen one other GT, in Redfire...all the others, coupes and verts, were black v6s, with a few min. grey ones...
And it's pretty odd, as every time someone makes a comment on the new Mustang probably the first thing that comes out of their mouth is something like "Oh, I love the color !"...
